As an independent Certified Flight Instructor based at Montgomery Field (KMYF), I provide personalized one-on-one flight training tailored to your goals and learning pace.
You’ll develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical flying skills needed to become a safe, capable private pilot.

Be at least 17 years old (flight training can begin earlier).
Be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
You need to pass a medical examination by an FAA-approved aviation medical examiner (AME)
US citizens and international students are welcome. Additional TSA requirements may apply (for non-US citizens).

Flight hours - National average is 75 flight hours (40 hours FAA minimum)
Average Plane rental $160/hour wet (including fuel)
Flight / Ground instruction $85 per hour
